Photo processing, storage, and deletion controls

Privacy when using Elsa's AI photo tools

Learn what happens to source photos and generated images, which providers process them, and how to request deletion.

What happens to photos I upload to Elsa?

Elsa stores uploaded source photos and generated images in cloud storage so results remain available across sessions. Photos are also sent to listed AI providers only to produce the requested result. You can delete related items in the app, delete your account, or email support with a data request.

How photos are used

Elsa sends uploaded photos and selected styling instructions to cloud storage and the AI providers identified in its Privacy Policy to produce requested results. Elsa says it does not use this imagery to identify you or build a facial-recognition profile.

The current policy identifies Cloudflare R2 for photo storage and fal.ai and EachLabs for image generation. OpenRouter receives photos used for the app's style-analysis features. Consult the Privacy Policy for the complete current subprocessors and terms.

Storage and deletion

Uploaded source photos and generated images are kept until you delete the related item in the app or delete your account. Provider-side processing follows each provider's API retention policy.

  • Use the in-app data deletion option in Settings.
  • Delete your account to remove the associated anonymous user record, uploads, and generated images from Elsa's systems.
  • Email elsaaisupport@gmail.com with “Data request” in the subject line for help.

Read the controlling policy

This guide is a plain-language summary, not a replacement for Elsa's Privacy Policy. The policy is the controlling source for current practices, rights, providers, and contact details.

These buttons open App Store and Google Play search-result pages, not direct Elsa product listings. Confirm the app name and publisher before downloading.
